We recently celebrated the grand opening of our newest Freddy’s location in Tucson last week! We’re thrilled to have another wonderful JRI-owned restaurant added to the map.
Freddy’s Grand Opening in Tucson
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® is a fast-casual restaurant concept that offers a unique combination of cooked-to-order steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and other savory items along with freshly churned frozen custard treats.
The new restaurant is located at 2744 E Broadway Blvd. and marks a fifth Tucson-area location for Freddy’s. Additionally, this location is unique for its layout and design. It is one of only two Freddy’s locations to be built with a dual walk-up and drive-thru layout with 34 seats on the outdoor patio. No indoor dining area is provided, making it more mobile-friendly.
Franchise owner, Jason Ingermanson, describes its unique layout saying:
“Our new location is a convenient option for mobile-minded and on-the-go guests who will benefit from this building’s features. Once you’ve had a chance to try a fresh meal and dessert treat from Freddy’s, we hope guests in the area will keep us top-of-mind for family dinners and drive-thru convenience.”
We couldn’t agree more, and we are so excited to offer the Tucson community another convenient location to enjoy the high-quality food and dessert treats Freddy’s is known for across the country.
A Time to Celebrate & Invest Back into the Community
In true JRI Hospitality fashion, we always remember to embrace and support our local community through a grand opening partnership with a non-profit organization.
The Tucson Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon cutting ceremony along with our beloved non-profit organization; CASA Support Council for Pima County, Inc.
The CASA Support Council for Pima County (CSCPC) is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer Board whose role is to support the CASA program, the CASA advocate volunteers and CASA children involved in Pima County. A CASA volunteer is a trained community member appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children during a dependency case.
CASA Support Council will receive 10 percent of all regular and large-sized frozen custard treat sales now through Sept. 15th.
We encourage you and everyone you know to make a trip to our latest Freddy’s location in support of this very special cause. At the end of the fundraising period, we’ll be presenting the CASA Support Council with all the funds we’ve raised during a special check presentation.
Hours of operation are:
Sunday — Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Online and mobile ordering is fully functional and available through the Freddy’s app and website.
