JRI Hospitality is proud to announce the successful completion of the Restaurant Operating Partner (ROP) Conference 2023, held at the scenic Salina Country Club in Salina, Kansas, from August 28th to 31st, 2023. With over 150 attendees, this conference was a remarkable gathering of leaders and stakeholders committed to advancing our core values, enhancing our approach to hospitality, and nurturing the development and recruiting practices within our organization.
The theme for the ROP Conference 2023 was “Connect,” and it was an event that truly embodied this sentiment. Attendees, representing various facets of JRI Hospitality, came together to strengthen their connections with the company’s foundational principles, core values, and approach to hospitality.
The conference featured a diverse range of inspirational breakout sessions that empowered participants with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in their roles. These sessions covered crucial topics including Professional Development, Recruiting and Hiring, and the Vision of JRI Hospitality. One of the highlights of the ROP Conference 2023 was the presentation of several prestigious awards that recognized outstanding achievements within the JRI Hospitality community. These awards included:

- JRI Hospitality Special Awards: Acknowledging those who have made a significant impact through their exceptional work.
- Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Awards: Recognizing excellence in various aspects of Freddy’s operations.
- JRI Hospitality Service Award: This year’s coveted JRI Hospitality Service Award was given to Ken Harder, Great Bend’s ROP, to recognize his commitment and outstanding service to the organization.
