The Salina Country Club has been one of Salina, Kansas’s most respected institutions for over 100 years. The property sits on top of Tom White Hill, serving as the community’s landmark spot for family-friendly activities. JRI Hospitality is happy to announce its purchase of the beloved country club. Read about our acquisition and how we’re going to honor the club’s rich history and provide a fun, relaxing experience for the Salina community.
Why We Purchased The Salina Country Club
As a Salina native, JRI Hospitality’s founder, Jason Ingermanson, knows how impactful the country club is in the city’s social and recreation scenes. To Jason and its other members, it’s more than just a country club. It’s brought families and friends together by creating one-of-a-kind experiences that its members have cherished for generations. It’s a landmark where people laugh, enjoy excellent food, stay active, and golf together to nurture a friendly community
A strong sense of community drives Jason and the JRI Hospitality organization; a partnership with the country club seems like a natural fit.
What Does JRI Hospitality Plan to Accomplish with The Salina Country Club
To honor the Salina Country Club’s legacy, we plan on enriching the community with exciting developments. We’re working to integrate new experiences, technologies, and infrastructure to boost our member’s enjoyment and attract new prospective members. Under our ownership, JRI plans to restore many of the club’s infrastructure, including:
- A new parking lot
- Installing a new roof
- Upgrading the club’s dining areas
- Integrating new technologies to enhance the member experience
One of those technologies we’re planning on adding is a state-of-the-art golf simulator. This will allow members to practice and analyze their swing, track their performance, and play on various courses. It’s the ultimate golf experience outside of actually stepping on the green and we’re excited to offer it to our members.
